C. Tangana
EL MADRILEÑO

Creating a character and his universe
C. Tangana wasn’t just releasing an album, he was rewriting the rules of Spanish music. He wanted flamenco in conversation with reggaeton, boleros flirting with urbano, tradition colliding with the streets of Madrid. A cultural fusion. A manifesto. A new identity.
Our job at Little Spain? Turn all of that into a world you could see, feel, and step into. So we built El Madrileño from the ground up.

An entire visual identity
We crafted the entire artistic direction from the language, look and universe of this character that resulted in:
· 12 music videos
· Album and singles covers
· visuals and live universe
A coherent mythology where Spain’s past and present lived in the same frame. Where nostalgia felt modern and elegance felt dangerous.
The Tiny Desk that broke records
To expand his presence in the U.S. and Latin America, we produced his Tiny Desk Home for NPR—now one of the most successful ever, the first Spanish Tiny Desk to hit No. 1, and the 5th most-viewed of all time worldwide with over 61M views.
A Tour and a film about the tour
The universe grew into a tour selling out across Spain and Latin America. And it culminated in the documentary Esta Ambición Desmedida, premiered at the San Sebastián International Film Festival and nominated for a Goya award.

And the numbers?
· 4× Platinum
· 3 Latin Grammys (winner)
· 1 American Grammy for best Latin Album (Nominated)
· Nº1 debut on Spotify (first Spanish artist ever)
· More than 621M video views.
El Madrileño wasn’t just a hit.
It was a cultural earthquake.
