After the success of the El Madrileño album, C.Tangana faces the challenge of creating the most ambitious tour of his career and revolutionizing the concept of live performances. "Esta ambición desmedida" is a journey that follows the artist for more than four years, from the genesis of the album in Cuba to the whirlwind of concerts throughout Spain and Latin America.
OLIVEIRA DOS CEN ANOS
Little Spain at its peak: visceral folklore, soccer excitement and the Vigo estuary. 2023 has been the year of the centenary for R.C. Celta. Pucho, whose father is from Vigo and deeply devoted to Celta, was proposed as the author of the club's centenary anthem. Oliveira Dos Cen Anos is a love letter to the roots of his family and an opportunity to recreate his obsession for cultural transcendence. A total work that speaks about the feeling of belonging, legacy and our only true concern: passion. A choir of more than 100 people, thousands of fans, drones flying over the island of San Simón with the iconic Rande Bridge in the background. The most ambitious production in Puchito's directing career.
Santos
This project was a colateral damage of 3 music videos that were to be shot in LA during the fall of 2017, but fell apart. Rogelio was going to direct, and Santos was going to DP. Rogelio fell in love with Santos´ way of seeing life, and thought of changing rolls. He grabbed an Alexa for the first time, and shot what was possibly a reflection of his own problems, “ embodied in the character of Santos and his inspirations.
The Designer is Dead
Feature-length documentary about Spain's most notoriously hidden fashion icon. With a story told between Spain and New York, this film will chronicle 30 years of artistic creations featuring never seen before archival footage and more than two years of present-day documentation. Directed by Gonzalo Hergueta. Currently in production, to be completed in 2023.
Navalacruz
An old man dreams about his childhood in the mountains. Meanwhile, life is still going on there in a way that he can’t even imagine. Everything changed but the most essential is still alive. His dreams and memories merge with reality in this piece which also means Santos’ return to his family’s home village.
Now You Know
A unique celebration of the opportunities lockdown can bring, “Now You Know” captures the relationship between Rogelio and his roommate, Javier Dichas, to suggest that the limitations a 50 day lockdown imposes only exist in the mind. Or, in Rogelio words, what could’ve happened “in any Spanish home when you lockdown a couple of immature adults.”
