The Challenge

Can an app of audio series compete with screens? This was the challenge posed by Sonora, the innovative app for audio series and fiction from the Atresmedia group. In a world dominated by visual consumption, our goal was to position audio as a quality alternative that rivals the experience of screens.

The Solution

The campaign invited potential consumers to reflect on their relationship with screens and to explore the unique value of stories in audio format. Álex Pallete and Toni Segarra came up with the concept: “People who listen”and Little Spain was commissioned to translate that into audio, film and video. Activations were designed both in public spaces and on social networks, which highlighted the opportunity to disconnect from screens and rediscover the pleasure of imagining and getting excited through immersive stories.

To reinforce the message, we developed three audiovisual pieces that portrayed users in various everyday situations: the pieces showed how the power of stories allows listeners to immerse themselves in emotional worlds anywhere and at any time.

The Results

The campaign garnered widespread media attention, with multiple features in industry-leading outlets. Publications praised the campaign for its innovative use of narrative and immersive visuals, solidifying SONORA’s reputation as a pioneer in the audio series space. Little Spain’s campaign for the SONORA app stands as a prime example of how creative storytelling, strategic digital engagement, and savvy media outreach can transform a product launch.
